150 mount achievement in MOP?

Is there any plans in MOP to add a 150 mount achievement with a reward of a mount? hint hint

I see a lot of people over the 125 mark in mounts collections and with the new addition mount coming in MOP this most likely be over 150 reaching close to 200 mounts.

Um, its not THAT hard to get 150 now. I have 152 mounts on my druid, around 155 on my account i think, and im not that huge collector anyway.

I have around 125 on my account (122 on my main) and I definitely went to every faction vendor that I reached exhalted with and bought every frikking mount - including the slow ones when mounts weren't tied to a speed skill you had previously bought.

If you have 155, you have been chasing them...

i have 143 mounts and yes it does require a little bit of farming and some effort in it. It's not that possible to have this many without actually looking for them.

Well, there are fairly many over 150 already at this point (like myself) and in MoP there will be a lot more "easy" mounts available. Yaks, those new dragons, that strange water mount, about 5 JC mounts too (correct me if I'm wrong), glory mounts and I bet some other rare ones as well (in addition to the CE mount I have heard of in some other thread and probably some TCG mount as well). So there really should be a 150 mount achievement coming. They already gave pet collectors their new achievements and there's a new achievement to loot 200k gold so in my point of view it's very likely for them to also update the mount achievements although I haven't heard any blue posts about it.

With the addition of what currently is around 20ish mounts, with the promise of a number more for achieves and rare drops, there should be both a 150 and 200 mount achievement. I currently have 150 mounts- I am missing 5 "farmable" mounts, the Stonecore drake, Deepholme rare, Uldum rare, Vash rare, and Sea Turtle. I also do not have the Winged Guardian from the blizz store. If class-specific mounts are made account wide, ill have an additional 6 mounts, and if proffession specific mounts are also account wide, make that 11. I am also missing all 3 of the Cata raid achieve mounts, and theres the addition of around 13 rare drops from bosses that I do not yet have.

I believe that, currently, theres around 227 or so mounts in the game- 202 are currently obtainable, with 25 no longer obtainable. While I believe that there isnt a single person that has ALL the mounts, and that the "currently obtainable" also count class/prof specific mounts, theres still a huge 190ish mounts available.

The 100 mount achieve can be done by buying all in-game purchasable mounts, 125 can be done by adding in a few rare and achievement mounts. 150 is doable if you get quite a few rares, achievements, and some tCG mounts. 175 requires either every single rare mount and achieve mounts, all TCG, and both prof-only mounts.

So, with an influx of the probable 30 mounts in Pandaria, both the 150 and 200 mount achieves should be added.

The thing about that is. you might never get a rare mount pop up if your unlucky

If you have 150+ mounts and claim you weren't putting in some kind of effort, you're lying through your teeth. You don't 'casually' get 150+ mounts.

There should have seriously been one for Cata. I have 165 mounts and no TCG mounts. I remember the 100 mount achieve in Wrath was seriously a pain in the ass but you felt pretty damn good once you were riding the Red/Blue Hawk.

They absolutely wouldn't add an achievement that relied on either TCG mounts or rare drops, hence why they award FOS' instead.

I'll QFT this guy here. I have 141 on my main and I worked my ass off for quite a few of them, especially to hit the 100 mark during Wrath (so many Argent Tournament dailies).

On topic, I hope they add a new one. They jacked up the one for pets so I have faith they'll add a new mount one.

Uhm. What? If a person plays 1-2 hours a day, or around 5 hours a week he can easily have 150 mounts. Thats casual playing. Someone who plays 5 hours a day will naturally also have 150 mounts, faster than the casual guy though.

It's easy to get 150 mounts by playing casually, it just takes time. Telling people they're lying is basically a horrible way of saying "I dont have any arguments, so you are lying".
