I bought diablo 3 online and started to download it with the blizzard downloader. It had errors saying it could not read memory and closed but I just had to re open it and it went back to the same spot in the download and kept going again. I had it to 6gb but it had an error so I re opened it and loaded it to the same folder(directory)whatever you wanna call it, I have everytime and now it was at 50 mb, and the folder that was 6gb is 50 mb. So i basically deleted it and started over. This same thing happened to me with the beta so I had to restart the download again and with the beta I had to do it 3 times and it reset everytime so I just gave up, so I dont know if anyone else has this problem or what and I know this isnt a diablo 3 support forum so if anyone knows anything post it please.
I had a similar problem, I am using windows 7, I open the downloader as administrator and turned off peer to peer in preferences, downloaded twice as fast without a hitch for me
