My brother decided he was going to join the military out of High School. First he spoke to the Army recruiter. Then he spoke to the Marine recruiter. When the Army recruiter found out my brother was weighing his options, the recruiter THREATENED to tell the Marine recruiter lies about my brother if he didn't agree to sign with the Army. (A practice this particular Army recruiter was known for and, as such, ended up being ignored by the Marine recruiter.)

My brother did his training in Paris Island. He was in his "schooling" when G.W. Bush sent us into Iraq based on lies about WMD's. As a result my brother was sent over.

After serving his term of enlistment, the Marines kept my brother for an addition year+ based on their "stop lose" procedure. When he was finally released they offered him no help and no services to re-acclimate him into civilian life. He was given no viable training in the Corp that could be used for a civilian job, despite all the promises made.

So let's review...

1. Sent into an illegal war based on lies.
2. Forced to stay beyond your enlistment thanks to a back-door draft.
3. Tossed aside like trash once your released.
4. Lied to by his recruiter and superiors.

What's not to like about joining the military?

Hey I'm just stating what she usually says, when I have walked by her. She's has a friendly outward appearance, always smiling but she gets these papers printed up that she hands out every day, and reads these longer pages upon pages of printed off material that she has. That are not coherent, usually anti Government etc.

Shes just crazy, idk if she is homeless or not.
