He has never touched my computer, as it is home built by me. I haven't put any blocking software on my own computer if that's what you're asking.

He can't have a sit down discussion with step-Dad or tattle to Mom, because then he would have to admit he is visiting those sites which would then force him to discuss what he is doing while visiting those sites, which is likely a topic he doesn't want to delve into with either or them.

This works too. Just download the pr0n in stead of streaming it.

This is the IP for polysolve, try using that: http://216.218.254.26/

Try visiting a site by IP as opposed to domain name, see if it pulls up.

If it does, the blocking is DNS-based and you can bypass it by setting your DNS servers to something like OpenDNS.

If it doesn't, then he's running something else at the gateway, for which there are other methods to bypass. Figuring this out would be a good start.

Hmm, how do you get internet access? Wireless router, straight old ethernet cable? Is it shared from your dads PC?

You built your own PC but can't get past some router blocking websites?

Log on to the router and look around. If you don't know the password, simply get the details of your ISP and reset the router back to admin admin.

Query: Did your step-dad ask your ISP to do a massive block on all 'adult' content?

If you change your dns you can view them directly without having to get the ip first

for people telling him to use a proxy or even tor.... facepalm now.

proxies change YOUR IP, has no effect on blocking someone elses IP...
