GW2: generic enemies? - help on catching up on lore
I just wanted to share with you a clip from a very fantastic series of videos about GW-Lore from Woodenpotatoes. It's all about lore and how it is woven into the game.
The first enemy you'll encounter in the human starter area are centaurs. But are these just some generic enemies which were put into the game without any thought? Do they actually have a lore in the GW-universe? Why are they attacking the humans? What do they have in common with Charr and are all Centaurs evil?
For answers to this questions and many more, watch this: (Note: the footage isn't the important part here, just listen)
Do you wanna catch up on the lore-bits? This series is one of the best ways to start imho. The guy is doing a hell of a job. Here some examples:
has anyone else seen the centaur-prisoners in the garrison (the garrison from the tutorial)? You can see the centaur without their armor - If I remember correctly those prisoners talked to me while I was staring at them in the BWE.
