What race is your Horde Mage?

Troll for the racial, if I was basing it on looks I think I'd go undead.

Seriously though I play an undead mage. Used to be human but switched to undead at the end of WotLK just because I've always liked playing Forsaken.

@OP: Remove Tauren from the list as they cannot be Mages.

Just because there is no pve benefit, doesn't mean there is no benefit at all. In pvp bloodelves get a silence and arcane resist. The resist is negligible most of the time, but the silence is very useful in many pvp situations.

Edit: Actually I just checked and it is quite a lot of resist, 85 rating or 12.64% damage reduction which will surely cut down AB spam quite a bit. More useful than it appears at first glance.

I changed from troll to undead. The racial will be missed but I look soooooo much better.

Female BE because I don't like male casting animations and it also seemed like the most fitting race for mage on Horde side. Or rather, mage seemed like the most fitting class for a female BE, since I have an 85 for each class/race/gender, minus male troll/male goblin since Cata because of the limited character slots and having more combinations than classes.

My mage is a Troll atm. It has been a Blood Elf, Goblin, Draenei, Gnome and Worgen too though.

6% mana every 2min is useless?

That is extremely helpful, damage buff as Arcane, and allows better mana regen overall which can be helpful on long fights.

Mines is a orc. was originally undead. i hate blood elves. majority of my toons are trolls. just not interested in goblins.
