    D3 Starter Edition

    I pre-ordered a physical copy of D3 through Amazon.de but apparently I won't get it tomorrow, possibly even several days later. So I thought I could simply start playing the Starter Edition tomorrow and then upgrade the account when I get the physical copy. I then searched the D3 site and battle.net for a Starter Edition but didn't find any options...

    So... does anyone know how to get one? In case keys aren't distributed freely, does someone have a spare key they could give me? It would need to work in the EU.

    Slightly hijacking this thread - i got more or less the same "problem". I believe the starter edition wasn't supposed to be released until after a month from now, and that it contained the same parts of the game that was in the beta.

    Now i also pre-ordered from a retailer; but my account seems flagged for the starter edition? Will i be able to play that you reckon until i receive my serial tomorrow?

    Well you can just try it out tomorrow :P In case it won't work I'll simply wait for my copy to arrive (instead of buying a digital version and reselling my other code... too much hassle).
