How does buying items work

If I'm a low level in diablo can I just buy rare and powerful items from people who beat the hardest difficulties? Then with awesome weapons my medium difficulty will then be much easier? Is this how this game works?

If you mean through the Real Money Auction House - Yes; but only a week after the release, RMAH won't be available until then.

Ok thanks. That is what I am interested in. Being able to buy items and get through the mid difficulties easier so I can get to the harder difficulty faster and get items worth more

It does, you would just have to be buying low level rare items to be able to use them at low levels. I think it would be a waste of your money though at the early levels.
