Ah okay. Yeah I meant it wasn't necessarily a death scene since he wasn't er... 'real' to their world to begin with?
But I see your point ^-^

From my understanding, he was never born to begin with. The Zanarkin that he lived in, and the one that the players saw in the beginning was not the real Zanarkin of the past. It was a Zanarkin alternate world being held together by the dreams of the Aions.

So the "i did it first" argument is not in effect when Skelington does it first? These rules are bias and unfair!

You really got a feel for Batman and Joker's crazy relationship. And you could tell the Joker loved antagonizing the Bat, and maybe even loved getting captured by him, because it meant the game could go on. And after everything that happened, it made the credits even sadder.

That was one of the best endings in modern game history. Completely unbelievably awesome.

I won't spoil anything, but there's an awesome scene in Batman Arkham Asylum involving Scarecrow and the Joker... freaked me right the fuck out. Easily one of the best "death" moments in gaming.
^ The above should be taken with two grains of salt and a fistful of "chill the F* out".

I know there were alot of great scenes in The Witcher 2, but for some reason every time I replay this game the king's death really impresses me, I'm not sure why, it's a relatively simple assassination but I really like it.

    Your entire party, Planescape Torment.
Though not a death or cutscene, Dionarras voice echoing through the mortuary in Torment gets me every time.
'I will wait for you in deaths halls, my love'.

When Jaheira finds Khalids body in Baldurs Gate 2.

I do like the Lich King ending from wow too.
