Diablo 3 not launching

I have downloaded Diablo 3 and when it finishes and says it is up to date, I hit the play button, and then it says launching, but then nothing happens. It doesn't open, I don't get any error messages, it just disappears.

I have downloaded it multiple times to see if that would fix it, it didn't. I have gone through the threads on the diablo site and none of the suggestions have fixed it. I do not know what to do.

The battle.net servers are down right now. If you just finished installing then you probably aren't able to see the message that says they are trying to fix it (again).
