Click to retry creating d3d device issue

Today when I tried entering Diablo I got a white screen with an error saying "Click to retry creating d3d device". I tried anything to get into the game but nothing worked. First I tried updating my video drivers, did not work. Then I tried to reinstall Diablo, did not work. And then I tried to update Windows, but that did not work either.

    Thanks in advance.

Sounds like you need to reinstall direct x. I'm not a pro with this stuff but D3D is the naming convention for direct x IIRC.
