    diablo 3 tips/tricks.

    hey guys.

i would like to make a topic about all tricks/tips you have found in diablo 3.
yesterday i found d3 elective mode mode in the option.

this basicly let you swap skills in place. so for my witch doctor i have my summons on 1 and 2. instead of 1 and 3.

i don't want a topic full of this tip sucks etc.
i will try to update this topic on a daily base so we can have a topic full of tips and tricks.

so please share you tips and tricks. or even secrets you found out.

Not only does it allow you to swap the skills around the bar. It allows you to have multiple skills from the same category.

    This is incorrect.

Pretty much essential for all casters, hold shift when attacking to stand on the spot and not run towards melee

Also, press alt to re-highlight any loot nearby

Tip: A point in intellect is generally more valuable than a point in strength or armor for defensive purposes.

Incorrect good sir. You can take as many skills from the same slot as you want. The only limit is that you can't have the same skill (or one of its rune variants) twice.

You obviously have no idea what you are talking about. Elective mode on lets your choose whatever 6 spells you want from any category. Click on the spell you want to change and there will be arrows at the top left and right that allows you to change from primary to secondary, defensive, etc.

Elective mode says hello. Good luck surviving past Nightmare mode without it.

Funny how you take such a strong stance on this and yet you fail.

This guy is trolling let him be wrong.

If you can't have both, why would there be a passive that increases your damage for each different spirit generator you use?

    i seriously wasn`t
I just thought when i saw a socket with a padlock that you had to make a choice..you couldnt just hoogg your entire bar full of offensive aoe melee spells (stupid example but yeah)
Since when you choose one (like fists of fury) the other abilities fade
