    Barbarian build you're using

So now you've been playing for a few days, what Barbarian build are you currently using, why, what level are you and where in the game are you?

    I'm currently using http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/calculato...XVgP!Xde!ZZaaZ
I'm lvl 34, Act I Nightmare. I can't be bothered to keep changing my build depending on the current pack I'm facing, and this gives me pretty good survivability. I can keep the mobs pretty close and debuffed, and I get a decent amount of self-heaing.

I'm playing with a sword and shield rather than two-hander, since the loss of damage seems pretty negligible, especially when compared to the extra survivability and damage reduction from the shield.

    How about you?

Can't link my build now, but I much prefer frenzy with triumph over cleave, rend is a bit useless in my opinion too. Do you know about elective mode by the way?

    Hello Aliessil,

I'm currently doing Hell mode and use a 2H, I'm having no issues with the below build and it seems to work well for me, even for bosses.

My Barb is currently level 25. I'm running with dual wield: http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/calculato...bhXVij!bd!Zaaa

Not having any problems jumping into a group of mobs and smashing em to pieces. I can't wait to get a very good 2 hand wep which I have not come across yet. Anyone know when or where we would get that fiery 2 hand mace in the D3 debut gameplay trailer?

You can also check out http://www.diablofans.com/forum/84-d...-class-forums/ if you need more advice. I see a lot of leveling builds and whatnot for most classes.

Currently level 56 near the end of Act II in Hell
I am working out the ups and downs of a survivable 2h damage build to keep that barbarian feel without having to use sword and board to survive.

Frenzy - Sidearm until I can get the last rune for it
    Whirlwind - Blood Funnel
    Threatening Shout - Demoralize
    War Cry - Invigorate
    Revenge - Provocation
Wrath of the Berserker - (W/e the damage boost is)

    Inspiring presence
    Ruthlessness
the 3% life from damage one

    This:http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculato...cZR!bed!baZaZa

Fury builders(single target/aoe) on my mouse, 2 aoe moves(rend glyph alternates between life stealing and range, but w/ some of my gear I'm pretty sure it's range now), hella hard single target rage dump, and my skill 4 changes. Just finished Act IV, so currently it's a defensive CD. Otherwise, it's either Whirlwind or Call of the Ancients, as I feel like a true Barbarian leaping into combat w/ my ancestors.

Speaking of which, I should really use leap/charge more, but I tend to play more defensive/tanky, and like just wading in and stunning/bleeding everything on screen. Feels good, sir.

This is my build, i have been using it, and it is CRAZY OP in AoE

    Level 44, Barbarian, Act III

    Elective Mode (ON)

Left Click - Cleave w/ Rune that makes people explode when killed
Right Click - Rend w/ Rune that heals you for 10% of rends damage
1 - Leap w/ Ironskin rune (or w/e its called, extra armor when landing)
2 - Ground Stomp w/ Rune that pulls people into you when you use this
3 - Revenge with rune that gives extra fury and hp
    4 - Earthquake with giant's stride rune

    passives

Bloodthirst - 3% damage as life
Berserker Rage - 25% extra damage with a full fury bar
Nerves of Steel - vitality as adds armor

This build is insane for aoe damage and healing

You will know where the bosses are so adjust according to that

but basically, leap for armor on CD, Rend every 3 secs for damage and HP, revenge (with this setup you should have a lot of people on you so lets say you have 10, revenge will heal 80% of your hp, need a second? Ground stomp stun, and if you pull to many, weed em out with earthquake

I have had fun times with this build, such as in act 1 nightmare i was grouped with a buddy, who started the event to defend the hill, while I wasnt there, he died, i came back and did the event solo (which isnt too hard, but the amount of people on me, we were laughing on skype watching my hp go 100-10%-100%-10%

Things to be wary of make sure you dont aoe pull poison droppers or the arcane guys, because if you do, your gonna have a bad time.

The stun on Bash is ridiculously OP. It can stun bosses and there doesn't seem to be a DR on it. Originially used whirlwind but glyphed cleaved seems to hit for as much with the additional bonus of generating rage. Shout can be kept up permanently very easily for the 45% damage buff.

Not sure how it'll fair on Nightmare but it got me through Normal with only 1 or 2 deaths (stupid explody green things).

Just killed Beliel on Hell difficulty, and using this build with huge success (particularly with painful rare combination types).

Left Click - Frenzy (Sidearm) - 25% chance to do double damage, plus a bit of AoE
Right Click - Weapon Throw (Ricochet) - Only Fury dump, mainly used to kite big mobs you can't take damage from or slow fast mobs that run about (e.g. wasps or treasure goblins)
1 - Ground Stomp (Wrenching smash) - Stun + group for other player's AoE / Revenge.
1 (alt) - Wrath of the Berserker (Thrive on Chaos) - For stun-immune bosses.
    2 - Warcry (Invigorate) - Duh.
3 - Revenge (Provocation) - 30% for less RNG, huge heal is amazing.
4 - Leap (Iron Impact / Death from Above) - Iron impact if boss is stun immune, death otherwise.

Best build I've made so far, based on spending a lot of fury, buffing/debuffing like crazy, and not dying.

    http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/calculato...Rig!XYW!ZZaZaZ

Generate rage with cleave, keep fury up, threatening shout as needed, ignore pain as needed, spam HoA for damage. Leap because it's barb. Mighty weapon for even more rage gen with Weapons Master. Nice big 2hander preferred, probably necessary.

Working real well, nightmare went from slightly a pain to a big joke.
