Overall Warhammer is not handled well as a franchise. :/
*confused* Those are RTS games. Not dungeon crawlers >.>

Diablo III. Best game I have played in years. We waited. And we waited. And it's amazing.

Bastion and Torchlight deserve a special mention, both great.

I liked Titan Quest but for some reason that game really hurt my hands/wrist in a way that Diablo games did not.

Well I think the Diablo games have a bit better combat feel to them than Titan Quest. But Titan Quest has the best character customization that I have seen in an action rpg.

Dungeon Crawler = Dungeon Master, Eye of the Beholder and the like. NWN, Titan Quest etc certainly aren't dungeon crawlers... people in this thread are probably very young, and ignorant of gaming history.

Legend of Grimrock is a good example of a modern dungeon crawler.

Yes. There is a thread on the forums with a dozen or so people reporting the issue. Not very widespread, but it appears the commonality is that we are all using SPDIF out. I cannot say that that is the cause, just my observation from the posts. In the meantime, I just crank some metal in the background and I'm good to go.

I was talking to the guy above me in that post. We got on the off topic subject of Warhammer.

Ah, yea. I only had a few minor bugs & errors- NPCs not talking, mobs stop attacking, etc. Small things recovered by a restart.

Oh, it's only the greatest one ever.

I mostly play fighting games these days.

Such a great game. The first sequel was very good too.

That game is the reason why I'm majoring in Computer Science.

    Remember this?

"TO BE ABLE TO PLAY YOUR GAME, YOU MUST LOCATE THE SIXTH WORD ON PAGE 53, PARAGRAPH 2, SUB-SECTION C, SENTENCE 4."

    I was 5 years old.

Legend of Grimrock is pretty great and in the style of EoB.

I really loved Ultima Underworld as well.

Heh yeah, many games had copy protections like that back then.

Ultima Underworld remake for modern gaming systems would make me ridiculously happy.

Its good to see there are a few people that have played Dungeon Siege besides myself.

I like DS1 a lot better than DS2, mostly because you could easily solo the entire game as an archer with 4 pack mules.

Yar, Ultima Underworld was kinda revolutionary.

    Remember this one?

    Titan Quest.

Probably going to play through that again actually, got bored of Diablo 3 already and imo Titan Quest is a better game anyway.

    (Don't hate me)

Also MAGICKA! I love the way that game plays, wish it was longer
