Where do green items drop?

Where are people getting green items that are going for insane amounts on the AH? Do they only drop in the late Acts of Inferno?

afaik some *may* drop already in act 1 - and are as rare as in other acts
It's just that higher acts have their own "tiers" (think WoW- tier X in Act 1; Tier X+1 in Act 2; etc.)

There are green items? I thought ti went Gray > White > Blue > Yellow > Orange

Greens are the set items

green items are crafted set items from a recipe.

set items were never really that great in diablo 2, they were kinda between rares and uniques but hella hard to complete (especially the amazon set because of the diadem)

Sets (especially the class specific ones) are reallly good - the fact is that a perfectly rolled yeallow item will always be better than any set/legendary.

Sets/legendaries are made to give you a decent base item setup to go farming without much problems. If you want to minmax your char anyway, you'll have to farm a lot more.
