EDIT: Looks like they re-uploaded/edited the video. When it was first up all you could hear were a couple of russians jabbering away.

I was expecting flying leaves but i thought it would be greener.
When i think of a china landscape i think of those dragon ball mountains.
I expected to see flying dragons in the background and..you know..MIST

While I welcome a new friendly log in screen the music seems a bit overly complex after a minute into it. It is almost as if two tracks are running at once

Why do people always bring this up when there's 2 giant humanoid statues? It's a symbol that's been used in a TON of other novels and manga.

All they added to the original tune is a few brass instruments in the background. Hardly complex

Not really a fan. I was hoping it would be more green, with those awesome Chinese mountains in the back.

First thing I thought when I saw it was, "Well... this isn't very much." It somehow lacks that kind of... pizzazz? It's kinda boring tbh, as stated numerous times. It had potential to be something awesome. But looking at it for a while, it's actually pretty decent. The color is an uplift from the previous cata one, which is really dark.

I'd expect release date announcement within the next two to three weeks with raid testing beginning a few days after.

Blizzard give the community a nice bit of artwork with some nice music to represent the calmness of Pandaria and they complain it's not enough as though it's a final version...

As already stated, we had something like 3 login screens during Cata beta before they decided on the 3rd. Things will, have no doubt, change.

I like it as it is right now though in all honesty. Yes, having a Cloud Serpent or two flying around in the background would be nice. But as I said, it's likely to change before the beta is over and done with. That said, I love the music at the beginning of the video, before it slips into the older sounding music and then back to MoP music :S Though let's be honest, who's going to be looking at this screen for more than about 20 seconds on live?
