Was looking at the amount of lightning a wizard can conjure and tacked on with the passive stun = lots of dmg and lots of cc.

    Opinions?

This is the build my friend is using on his wizard. It's been nerfed recently because of energy armor, but currently all you do in this build is stack vitality/int/crit, and you use your high amounts of numbers to get lots of crits, which will reset the CDs on your defensives very very quickly.

Before the nerf you would get your health as low as possible, and stack life regen, because energy armor would make anything that would otherwise take more than 35% of your health, only deal 35% of your health. So, you could literally run around as a wizard, in hell/inferno, with 5k life, and chain diamond skin with energy armor on, and with that build, chain diamond skins until the mobs died. It was kind of cheesy OP. But its been fixed, so now you stack vitality, and your energy armor caps its absorb at your entire health bar, meaning if a mob would 1 shot you, it will not reduce the damage coming in. Irrelevant now, but, fun fact I suppose.

Shoot out a few living lightnings, a few tornados, run to the pack and frost nova, diamond skin as quickly as possible. With the passive that makes your crits reduce all of your cooldowns by 1 second, you'll be able to chain defensives, while dealing a fairly decent amount of damage.

The fire familiar is interchangeable with pretty much anything else, it's just there for the passive damage increase.
