Different Monk Build Questions

So i was wondering what kind of builds are you guys using, i've heard of dodge tanking one , of stacking resist gear mixing dps with defense abilities, and of regular tank one ( something i use along the lines of : http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/calculato...TjQ!VYc!YaZZaa ).
But i also heard of attack speed build with a focus on AS + life on hit.
If anyone could share some of their builds and their experiences i would appreciate it.

I'd be happy to share it with you if you want to try something different out.
I played as a tank first, kept doin it until I finished of Act 1 Inferno.

But then I thought it started to get abit boring, stacking armor/resistance and whatnot. So I started doin some research, watching a couple of youtube videos. Then I decided to go DW monk, focusing on Life on hit.

I got Act 1 Inferno on farm mode and progressing in Act 2 at the moment.

When I started playing like this, I had about 230ish resistance in all and ran with 2x 500ish weapons.
About 500 Life per hit and 3% Lifesteal and 1.80 Attacks per second.

Great part with this build is that you get so much dmg output even if you dont have any good weapons/stats. So use the CD's, nuke the hell out of the mobs. Kite, repeat.
Ofcourse, when you get abit better gear you can tank them basically without losing hp. Like I'm doin now. It's well more fun then running around with a 1H and shield. This, I can only do in Act 1, not in Act 2 ofcourse.
Some elite packs are harder, sure. Those, You have to kite even tho you have enough gear.

In all, it comes down to using your abilites in the right moments, dont stand in fire to long etc etc. But you know that right?

Also, I'm not the one that usually post guides for things like this, But I felt like trying and sharing it with you. So I probably forgot to explain everything in detail, but that's what questions are for right?
