    Building my new computer

Hey so I've recently received 5,000$ from an accident I had 3 years ago and decide to invest in a great gaming computer with it, and even willing to go as high as 3k for a computer, So I took time today and put this together and just want your opinion, tell me what you think.

Is what I would do on that budget. That said, you don't need the second video card. You don't need the top-of-the-line motherboard. You don't need 16GB of RAM, 8GB is perfectly fine. If you don't get the second video card, you could go down to a 650 or 750W PSU without a problem. You could easily drop the price by almost a thousand dollars and still have a PC that would take any game out there today and yell "GIVE ME MORE TO DO!"

Got to agree with the guy above me. My setup is similar to the second list he made but I'm on sandybridge i5 2500k and a p67 motherboard with a gtx 670 windforce x3. I've overclocked the cpu to 4.4ghz and the 670 is holding down a 1230mhz core overclock (damn, I got a nice card for ocing). There is literally nothing I can't play in maximum settings, it eats BF3 alive with full AA/AF. If I had the kind of money you had to spend then I'd literally build the system I have again but upgrade it to ivybridge. Save your money and buy a second graphics card when it's needed and make sure you have the ventilation to house two as it's a big increase of heat inside your machine.

Just remembered, you can drop the SSD to 128GB and save another 120 bucks, reducing the price even more to about 1500, which is the round thousand less than the first.

    OP,

I would definitely go with this build. The only thing I would do is change the RAM to Gskill sniper or Ares, or Mushkin blackline.

    Also, get windows7 home
