Not a fan of the GTA games.
Crash and Backlot are awesome. Bog was quite fun as well. So was Ambush.

I don't have any kind of graphic handy, but Daggerfall's map covered nearly 500,000 square kilometers. That's twice the land area of Great Britain.

Dust 2 would certainly get my top vote (though I prefer the CSS version of it). Best FPS map I've ever played on in any game by far, IMO, and I've played on a lot of maps in a lot of games.

Delta Force 1 - Beach Head, Ice Flows, Rocky Desert
Counter Strike - Militia, Dust2, Cbble
DoD - Anzio, Donner, Charlie
CoD - Dawnville, Carentan, Railyard
CoD:UO - Stanjel, Casino, Streets
BF2 - Strike At Karkand, Sharqi Peninsula, Mashtuur City
TF2 - Dustbowl, Gravel Pit, Upward
CoD: MW - Crash, Strike, Backlot
CoD: MW2 - Favela, Skidrow, Terminal
Sad thing is I only had to look up 2 of the map names.

Dead Simple. Anyone who enjoys FPS deathmatch owes a lot to this map.-Wowhead user on the Lion Horn of Stormwind, an epic from the era of so-called "EPIC" epics.Now, THIS thing? THIS thing is horrible. It's just awful. It was awful at 60 and it was awful at 58. It's awful at 45. If this dropped off a mob in Wailing Caverns when you were level 17 and being run through by a higher level character, you would equip it ONLY because you don't have trinkets at that level, and it would STILL SUCK.

There are some good ones here I would have used (Blood Gultch, Dust2, several COD4 maps) so this is the next one that came to mind. For some reason shooter games have maps that stand out more than anything else to me. I bet I can still run through most of these blindfolded.
Facility. Followed by Complex, Caves, and Temple.
