thinking of coming back...

So now that i heard that there is player housing in Rift now i'm definitely thinking of coming back since swtor is dead atm anyways im just here to ask a couple questions about the end game of Rift. This is prolly gonna sound bad but i only got to like 10 and quit lol, so im not good at the game at all!

what is there to do at 50?
how is the pvp?
is the playerbase good?
and what is the best us shard?

This gets asked multiple times each week and with all due respect can be tiresome for people to reply to the mass amount of new content the dev's have put into the game for the last year.
