I could possibly just wait a few more days and save up to like a 680 how much of a performance increase is it?

Remember when building to put the power supply with the fan facing down (otherwise the 8 pin cable will not reach the connector at the top of the motherboard)

Yes. But. eVGA, and has like, the worst cooler in history. But yes, it is correct. But >400.
Every time i look up 670 on Newegg and they're out of stock, they're almost always back in within 24 hours. So I'd say just be a little patient and they can grab one.

Consider going for 8 gb of ram. For gaming it's more than you'll ever need.

    670 vs 680 is like 5 to 10% increase, dunno about 7950 and a 680.

680 was <= the 670 from benchmarks I saw. Not worth the $100 prince difference at least in my opinion, especially for a budget like yours.
Would also recommend dropping for 8GB, for what you're doing it will be more than enough and you can use that $50 for better things.

    Edit: Meant "680 was <= 10% over the 670"

Meh, all four (670, 680, 7950, 7970) all have more than enough grunt to play any current game at ultra, and if the trend of simply porting over console titles (which are optimised for vastly outdated hardware at 720p) continues it will stay that way too.

    Coar,

You can save $80 by dropping the H100. Get something like the Xigmatek Gaia, CM Evo 212+, CAFA70. These will cool the CPU fine and cost 1/4 the price.

Nice move on the graphics card, there was a deal like that where I got Battlefield 3/Batman Arkham City with my card. Half tempted to sell this card and get a new one while they've got those games attached to them, would love Deus Ex :P .

Everything looks good, look forward to pics hopefully :]

Im pretty certain that SSD doesnt come with a mounting bracket so you might want to throw one of those in there for like 5 dollars or whatever they cost. At least i ordered the 256 gb version and it doesnt come with one !

    The case supports it natively.

And even if it didn't, an inch of double-sided sticky tape would do the job just fine.

I would switch to 1600mhz ram, Mushkin Blackline (2x4) would be a good choice, and ~$15 less.

The cooler... You could switch to the Noctua D14 and save ~$30 to get the same performance.

Maybe get a better GPU if you want to spend those $100

I think this would fall in line with your budget?

or simply a 7870 if the 7950 is too much above.

NVM! Sorry, didn't see the latest build =]

The latest build s/he posted, features an HD7970, so it's above.
