NINJA GAIDEN 3: Razor's Edge for Wii U.

    Ryu + Wii U = Ninja Awesomeness

The solitary Ninja, Ryu Hayabusa, must find a way to lift the deadly curse on his right arm before it destroys him... NINJA GAIDEN 3 has been reworked to bring to Wii U the truly intense, high-speed challenge and action NINJA GAIDEN fans demand. With more weapon and Ninpo types, a new character progression system, a redesigned battle system and the return of dismemberment, NINJA GAIDEN 3: Razor's Edge improves upon the original NINJA GAIDEN 3 in every way and offers Wii U exclusive features and functionalities.
    Features:

Unique Wii U controls – During single-player mode, players can enjoy faster and more fluid action by using the touch screen of the Wii U GamePad controller to select weapons, execute Ninpo, see in-game information and much more.

New Weapons and Ninpo Types – Exclusive to the Wii U version, the game includes six weapon types and three Ninpo types, allowing for greater game-play variation and deeper strategy.

Character/Weapon Progression System – Using the Karma points earned during game play, a player can upgrade his weapons and Ninpo and increase the character HP level.

Faster, More Intense Battles – Improved enemy AI, the return of dismemberment, as well as new enemy types and battle areas have been added for greater variety in battles and increased replay value.

Seems fun for hardcore gamers, never played any of the games but this looks like it could be fun.

I guess if you never played the other 2 you would like this game but if you're a fan of the first two, 3 is absolute garbage all i can say is rest in peace Ryu.

this version is much improved and is probably what number 3 should have been, updates include:

    -limb dismemberment is back
    -6 new weapon types
    -3 new Nimpo spells
    -new enemies
    -new areas
-a character and weapon progression system

it's also apparently more difficult then the previous version, so no more button mashing.

God I love Ninja Gaiden games, except the DS one anyway which was awful all around. If this is Wii U exclusive and looks as good as it does now, it will be a huge slap in the face to Sony and Microsoft who have been whoring the Ninja Gaiden games for years now. These games are always really good quality and quite possibly the most difficult franchise in gaming.

Is it going to be on anything other than Wii U, cause screw getting that console. Looks pretty good from the PoV of someone who hasn't played Ninja Gaiden before.

3 was complete and utter garbage. Didn't feel like a Ninja Gaiden game at all. This looks BETTER, but it'll still probably suck.

Just wondering, why this console in particular?
OT: Hopefully it'll be better than Ninja Gaiden 3 was on every other platform.

No because the graphics would look inferior and it won't have the same game play features due to the outdated gamepad ideology

Are there any Australian players here who tried to buy this game through EB games?

My brother preordered it a while ago and the latest given release date was Tuesday 16 April (Today in Aus). When he went to EB games to check on the release, the guy at the counter phoned the company and was told that the release had been cancelled altogether. My brother was refunded for the preorder, but there seems to be no news of a cancellation from EB games besides what the company had said over the phone.
