    260 BUT

Every time my computer is renewed whether it be by death from a computer virus, installing a new operating system, or just upgrading and buying a whole new computer I don't import all the music I previously had

I'm kind of OCD about playcounts, and anything that I've already exhausted when I start over will sit in iTunes with playcounts ranging from 0-5 plays each or so... forever.... being annoying

My last computer start over was at the start of this year I got a new custom computer as a slightly late Xmas gift. So in 9 months I've amassed 260 more songs then. Soon to be more as there are 3 albums upcoming in the next 1 month or so that I know I want to buy. (New ones by As I Lay Dying, The 69 Eyes, & MGK, if anyone cares) I'm sure there will be even more before the years over though.

Also, I don't pirate music, I buy all my music

If I were counting all music I technically own I am sure it would be well over 1,000 songs, maybe even over 2,000 songs. But I don't want my iTunes cluttered with like 129 albums that I don't even listen to anymore...

iTunes lists 1409 songs and 211 albums for me. I find it funny that I have so many songs yet often cannot find something to listen to.

I've got somewhere around 1300 MP3s and maybe 40 CDs.

Edit: Not sure if you'd count it toward my music library but I also have four concert DVDs.

I have three external hard drives (1.5 terabytes each) filled with music, 10-15 large boxes full of old cds / tapes, and a collection of vinyls. If I had to ballpark it I would say that I am easily approaching ~1,000,000 songs. I collect all forms of music and I could easily qualify as a hoarder for music; at least 35% of my pay check each week goes towards music and I am fairly certain that I am single handily keeping the local record store in business (joking of course...).

Collection ranges from Mississippi Blues Classical Music -> Cannibal Corpse and Slayer.

    Music is literally my life

I got 8482 tracks, 89,9GB. Pretty much all legally purchased.

I use Spotify quite a bit to.

edit: lost count of cds and vinyl. I'd guess I got around 2000 vinyls(house/techno), CD's a couple of 100 albums. I've been buying on average 10 vinyls/month for the last 15 years or so.

The nerve is called the "nerve of awareness". You cant dissect it. Its a current that runs up the center of your spine. I dont know if any of you have sat down, crossed your legs, smoked DMT, and watch what happens... but what happens to me is this big thing goes RRRRRRRRRAAAAAWWW! up my spine and flashes in my brain... well apparently thats whats going to happen if I do this stuff...

I have 4 boxes full of CD's I don't use. I have a record collection of about 60 or so albums. On my computers about half a Tb of albums too. All of these albums I have because I love them, there is a file on my PC devoted to new music I havent heard yet which never has more than about 4 or 5 albums in it. Before you say it, I buy music and put it on my machine, not torrenting like a madman. I am a collector of music and a lover of it. So I do the artists justice and listen to their whole albums not just the odd song here and there. Full LP's are an art form, what ever happened to listening to full albums?

Not very big (600 songs?) I don't believe in buying a complete album just for one song that I like. I will buy a best of series but that is still even rare.

47,000 songs (roughly) if I rip all my cds and include digital purchases. (Downloading is not something I do)

I don't have an official count, but I have 9.3 days worth of music on my iPod. I would estimate the average song length to be about 7 minutes. So around 2k songs.

    I'm at over 1000, 1741

Prior to listening to kpop I'd download any kind of song so my music library is quite varied, from Marilyn Manson to Britney Spears to Nightcore and such, but I rarely actually downloaded songs.

Now I listen to kpop however I want ALL THE KPOP on my ipod. Out of those 1741 songs, 773 of them are in my Asian playlist. I have some songs by Japanese or Chinese artists (Between 10-15 all up) the rest are by Korean artists. And I'm downloading more every day pretty much. Slowly going through the groups/singers and getting their entire album collection. (Only started that recently, for a long time I was in the same habit of just getting a few of each)

And for the first time ever since I was 14, I'm buying the albums by artists I really like. Digital copy for some and hard copy for my favourites, not just hard copy but pre ordering the special limited edition +goodies version of their latest album
