Can either of those 2 PCs run Dota2 on high ?

    Hello,

i dont know much about PCs, and im still on the hunt for a cheap PC that can run Dota2 on high settings at 1280x1024 ish resolution.
    I only play Dota 2

I have found this PC for 420€
Amd Phenom II X6 Black Edition 1090T (6x3,2GHz)
    Asus M4A88T-Evo/USB3
    2x2GB Corsair XMS3 DDR3-1333
    Sapphire Radeon HD6770 1024MB
    Xilence 550W
Sharkoon T9 Green Value Edition Case
    DVD-Burner LG
    Samsung SpinPoint 500GB

This is the second PC for 450€ + a Logitech g15

    Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 920 @2,7GHz 8MB QPI DDR3 LGA1366
ATI Radeon HD4890 1024MB DDR5 PCIe active & passive cooling
    Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD5
    500 Gigabyte
    6 GB DDR 3
    ATX NZXT Lexa Blackline
LG DVD+-R/RW Dual Layer DVD-Burner+LG DVD RAM
    700watt PSU
    Logitech G15

The first one has more infos on the parts, and looks much better for the price i think.
But which of those would be better for Dota2 ?

    Thank u very much!

First one will run it better, mostly medium settings will be my bet.
    i7-6700k 4.2GHz | Gigabyte GTX 980 | 16GB Kingston HyperX | Intel 750 Series SSD 400GB | Corsair H100i | Noctua IndustialPPC
    ASUS PB298Q 4K | 2x QNIX QH2710 | CM Storm Rapid w/ Reds | Zowie AM | Schiit Stack w/ Sennheiser HD8/Antlion Modmic

The second one is a tiny bit better... however with overclocking it will blow the first one out of the water.
Only thing it lacks is support for DirectX 11 which really isnt needed for Dota2

That i7 9xx wont blow the 1090 out of the water at anything. Those are on par w/ each other now the 2500/2600/2700k will all smash the hell out of it. 1st pc will play your resolution on maximum. It will play modern FPS around medium maybe even high but not w/o a new gpu.

Never mind my post before edit, seems I was mistaken.

The 6770 will give you full DX11 support, however the 4890 would otherwise be better, however will not fully support DX11.

However both systems should handle Diablo 3 pretty damn well.

Didn't read the said resolution, either way go for the first one, the fan on the 4890 is as loud as a jet engine with a screaming gnome attached to it.

It'll probably run it on high
