Best intro for me is Limitless.That infinite zoom thing just blew me away.

1. All the LOTR movies... The Intros were all fucking brilliant, with Fellowship leading the pack... It's like 2 Back to Back intros and both The Shire and the summary of 'The Ring/s' were just done to near perfection.

2. The Dark Knight. As mentioned by a number of others, just an incredible introduction of The Joker and an amazing opener.

3. Back to the Future. The slow pan of all the Clocks with the Contraptions running, Best part is that was all filmed Live with no Editing ... Then the Guitar and Phone call from the Doc followed by 'Power of Love', it was just awesome.

More cool ones I've probably forgotten, but they're my favourites

Favourite intro?... Good god, way too many. I'm just going to put everything that Saul Bass ever put his hand to: Most of Hitchcock's film openings, Vertigo in particular comes to mind.

Harry Potter 7 Part 2 had just a somber intro that was really heartfelt.

Moulin Rouge was just entertaining.
