Battle.net Currency

I searched around for a while but couldn't find an answer to my specific question, but knowing Blizzard FAQs it was probably just hidden away somewhere I couldn't see it.

I live in Australia, we use AUD.
Diablo 3 RMAH uses USD.

When I click on my Battle.net Balance and select Other currencies it says "One form of currency cannot be converted into another, and some currencies may not be used in some regions. For example, account balance in USD can only be used on the North American regional site (us.battle.net)."

Am I able to use the RMAH?
