    New GPU

I've currently got an AMD 6700 series and I'm thinking of replacing it. The only issue I've got is I run a 650W PSU.

I have a AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 850 Processor (4 CPUs), ~3.3GHz, with 8 GB RAM and I don't have any power intensive peripherals, only a mouse, keyboard, webcam and headset.

So my question to you is what cards could I run without maxing out my PSU? A friend says I could still easily run a GTX 670 but as its a fairly pricey I thought I'd find out first, I know it's actually quite a power friendly card compared to the 680 but again, I just wanted to check.

Any card you would buy can run on 500W. That said, the AMD processor you have will definitely bottleneck your system if you pickup a 670.

I guess you could pickup something like an Asus/Sapphire/MSI 7850 and see how it runs.
