I usally eat about 3000 calories but then again i work out almost every day and have 10% body fat
15 years old, 3500, i train a lot
Eating 2100 calories on a diet, while doing insanity.
I mentally try to stay below 1600, more times than not I fail.

People that stay under 1200 must be retarded or weight something like 50 pounds....
Your body needs ATLEAST 1200.
Probably a little under 2000. I exercise a lot too.
Not enough, 64kg with around 15hours swimming/cycling/running each week. Around 3k-3,5k, it's really hard to eat even though your not hungry
Around 2k with 1 cheat day per week, almost at the end of my diet which lasted since the beginning of april, still have 2 weeks before my summer break which should be enough time to lose the last 2-3 pounds to be completely ripped
Most people don't conduct an actual count, but it doesn't take much effort to recall what you ate and come up with a good estimate.
