This is interesting I talked to a GM and he said "The only way to get your old characters back is to start up the Annual Pass again." I suppose that is good news, haven't heard of someone being able to reactivate the annual pass

So if you stop paying for the annual pass (I don't even play WoW any longer so I'm not going to pay $15 a month for Diablo 3) you basically lose all your characters since you have to buy the game?
That sucks, I guess I'm also done with Diablo 3

You characters will only be there if you can log on right now and they're still in the hero list. Starter edition is always active, so you can check it.

I got so bored with D3 so fast that I thought about letting my WoW account lapse as I will surely never play it again.
EverQuest, City of Heroes, Star Wars Galaxies, EverQuest II, World of Warcraft, Guild Wars, Star Wars TOR, Guild Wars 2, Rift.
