    PC Build

Hi guys, looking for amazing advice on a build I'm making.

    Graphic Card: ASUS GeForce GTX680/2GD5 - 2GB - PCI-E --499,00
    CPU: Intel Core i5 3570K 3.4GHz 6MB LGA1155 Quad-core - Including cooler -- 203,03
    Motherboard: ASRock Z77 Extreme4 - Socket 1155 - ATX -- 126,95
    HDD: Seagate 1,5TB 3.5" SATA-600 5900rpm 64MB -- 96,00
    CPU Cooling:
    PowerUnit: Corsair - Builder CX600 V2 - 600 Watt -- 57,95
    RAM: Corsair Vengeance - 8 GB 1866MHz PC3-15000 -- 53,95
Fans: Cooler Master Casefan Ultra Silent (120mm) x4 -- 39,80
    Case: Elite 430, Open Sidepanel -- 35,20

    Total Price -- 1111.88 Euro

Planning to overclock in about 3-6 months. Is a new CPU Cooling already necessary?
I'm also buying a SSD in the coming 3-6 months. Is 600 Watt enough to support this build?
Anything I can improve on this build? Budget is 1150 Euro for now.
Is there enough space in the case for everything?

Found a deal with an ASUS P8Z77-V LX motherboard and Intel Core i7 3570K + Battlefield 3 for 309 euro, any good?

I would change the hard drive to Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB 7200PRM.
For Processor cooling you can go with CORSAIR H100 for liquid cooling heatsink or Hyper 212 for air cooling.

(Also there is a section for computer builds/upgrades here for posts like this. You don't have to repost, a moderator will move this one here im sure. Just for future reference )

Edit: Fixed "For processor cooling" from "Case cooling."

I just realized your plan with the Seagate drive. Since you are going to buy a SSD and are probably going to use the seagate drive as storage, then I guess the 5200 rpm is perfectly fine.

Thanks for the help so far. I'm indeed planning to use the Seagate drive as storage. I still have doubts about the CPU Cooler tho, do I need a new cooler if I don't plan to overclock yet?

    Graphic Card: Excellent
    CPU: Excellent
    Motherboard: Great
    HDD: Fair enough
    CPU Cooling:
    PowerUnit: Average
    RAM: Great
    Fans: Wut?
    Case: Below average

Planning to overclock in about 3-6 months. Is a new CPU Cooling already necessary?
    > No, you can buy the cooler when you want to OC. People tend to buy coolers right away to save themselves the hassle of unplugging + removing the motherboard if their case doesn't have a big enough CPU cut-out.

    > 600w is enough

Elite 430 is a small budget case and is looking horribly out of place for a killer 3570K + GTX680 build, the case has little or no cable management or features and low airflow.
You want a nice roomy case with solid airflow - look at the higher-up cases from CoolerMaster (692/HAF/Storm series), Corsair (Carbide/Graphite series) or something nice from NZXT or Antec. Yes I'm telling you to spend a bit more, but in the long run a solid case can go a LONG way with endless room for expansion. Elite 430 is by no means bad, but it's meh.

For example, I bought a CM Storm Sniper and the case has been as solid as a tank over the past 1.5 years. I'll definitely be carrying it on through further builds and upgrades (and potentially even watercooling with some modding). Just using it as an example, the Sniper is a bit outdated compared to today's cases.

Thanks Xuvial What do you think about the deal I found?

"Found a deal with an ASUS P8Z77-V LX motherboard and Intel Core i7 3570K + Battlefield 3 for 309 euro, any good?"

I'm having doubts about the motherboard. But the Intel Core i7 3570K would be 304 Euro already.. Too good to be true?

I think I might get the Cooler Master HAF 932 - Full Tower - noPSU, instead of the Elite 430.

Sorry I didn't answer that one because I don't know anything about EU prices...I'm not in a position to say what's a good deal and what's not : /
I don't know any go-to PC stores in EU either. Our standard array of sources (PCPartPicker, Newegg, etc) don't typically include EU.

All I can say is that given a strict choice between P8Z77-V LX and Extreme4, I would take the Extreme4.
