Need help choosing between two laptops

Hey, so basically my brother's friend is going off to college, and he has given me the task of finding a good laptop for him. He will be doing gaming, with the most intensive game he wants to play to be BF3, and a couple of other games (d3 and other games of that graphics level). At this point I have come up with these two being the best fits for him:

So the total for that one (including tax and shipping) comes to: $1333.66

His budget is $1500, but obviously the more money left over the better. The main differences between the two, respectively, are a 1gb gddr5 gt650m vs 2gb gddr5 gtx660m, the 128gb ssd +750gb hd vs just a 750gb hd, and from what i can see a 1 year warranty vs (from what i can see) standard newegg return warranty.

I am leaning toward him getting the sager option, because from what I've read the 650m can still perform handily, and the ssd is a huge +. Also the warranty is a good bonus. Any advice or recommendations would be highly appreciated, thx.

Since he wants to play Bf3, I'd value the extra GPU-oomph more than an SSD or RAM.

He can always replace the hard drive with an SSD if he feels like he needs the faster loading times. Therefore I vote for the MSI one.
