Do colors matter?

Just logged in on a 54 DH to see a AH full of lets say *orange* rings at over 35mill. The stats arn't even that amazing..

33 STR
94 DEX
33 INT
35 VIT
45 LIGHTNING res

Various other meh stats.

Would this matter if it was a yellow or blue? It seems colour means price.

In wow at least if you post a green for 10,000 people tend to /w and ask why??

Maybe the D3 AH should have a poster ID so you can ask are you sure, or make an offer if you like the price?

Just seems a color of an item means mad prices.

People have trouble leaving that mindset behind. They expect to pay a permium for Legendaries becuase they expect that those items will be very good. But, surprise, most of them suck. And, even bigger suprise*, people still pay the premium.

*Maybe not really a surprise. People are stupid.

Just because they're listed for a price doesn't mean that they're selling.

I've bought 2 legendaries which I used for levelling and resold for the same modest prices I bought them for.
