Looking over the combat log, the hunter uses Dire Beast early in the fight. That is a Mists ability that spawns an additional pet for a couple seconds, giving focus regen and additional damage

Bugged out the fight in some way or modified the logs. Yes, it's possible they might've used some sort of absurd number of bounces (however unlikely, it only reports 12) -- but if you take a look at the Paladin's self healing.. which doesn't scale based on the number of bounces..

Well, maybe here's a clue.

The log shows he heals himself mainly through this version of Drain Life:

That's a proc from the normal mode (403) version of Souldrinker:

It's supposed to damage the target for 1.5% of your maximum health, heal you for twice that amount.

Except that, for this guy, the heal procs are in the 200k range, and his Lay on Hands heals him for 4 million.

No point, the buff/debuff is capped at 10 per phase anyway.
