Any specific reason as to why it needs to be a laptop? I'm sure you are aware, but you could potentially get a killer system with those €1300 (also please note that €1300 corresponds to roughly $1300 when talking about computer components).

    Gaming 1050
    MoBo: ASRock Z68 Extreme3$119.99
    CPU: Intel i5 2500k$219.99
    RAM: G.Skill Sniper 1600MHz 2x4GB$48.99
    GPU: MSI Radeon 7950$379.99
    HDD: Samsung Spinpoint 1TB$109.99
    PSU: Seasonic S12II 520W$69.99
    Heatsink: CM Hyper 212+$29.99 Review
    Case: Cooler Master Storm Scout$79.99

    Estimated Total Price – $1059

most gaming needs. With a stronger PSU
there is room for another GPU (SLI/CF).

Should equal about €1000 or so. Leaves €300-400 for monitor, keyboard and mouse (if you need that). You can always run Windows 8 RP (and skip the cost for an OS, for now at least).

I recently purchased this gaming laptop.

    http://i.imgur.com/UQonl.png

It's about 100 euros higher than your budget (switching to a 15.6 and a slightly worse gpu should knock some money off) but I'd highly reccomend it if you're willing to pay that much. It's better than my home built desktop in terms of what it can run and unbelievably cheaper compared to brand bought alternatives, such as infamously alienware, asus, etc

edit: I chose to have an SSD primary and a normal secondary; but removing the SSD you'd also save money and it would still run like a beast

    Gaming....Laptop...What is this ... I dont even....

On the serious note, Even though Alienware is a little bit more expensive than other Laptop's, it's still pretty good and there should be a model matching your price range

Alienware charges 3-4x more for a piece of equipment that it actually costs just to put an alienhead on it. They also crash extremely easily. They only got bad after Dell bought it.

Friend owns it, i will be getting it soon. Will play any game you could think of at max. (maybe not BF3 but extremely close) Asus are completely reliable, i've owned 2 asus computers for (1-7 years 2nd - 4 years) Only reason i got new computers is because they got outdated as do all computers do. Screen isn't exactly what your looking for but it is bigger, so i figured might as well show you.

Comes with a new 600 series nvidia gpu and 3rd gen I7 processor. The card itself is worth 400$ it is quite a bargain.

Doesn't have a name. It's built on www.pcspecialist.co.uk where they use a generic clevo chassis and build to the spec you want. This particular model on the site is known as the Vortex 3, but it's 100% customisable

May I ask a question regarding that set?

1] Why do you have a regular HDD instead of an SSD such as Samsung 830? I have Spinpoint F3 1Tb myself as well as a storage drive (prior to my SSD it worked as the main drive), so I know its +120 mbps reading speeds - still I'd go for an SSD if I was looking for a gaming rig.

2] What's the point of taking 1600 MHz RAM memory for a cheap gaming desktop? The difference compared to 1066 / 1333 is insignificant, and that way you could save a couple of bucks.

    1. My thread specifies that a SSD is optional (it's included in the higher-end builds though). HDDs are still superior for storage, which is why I have one included in all builds. My philosophy remains that a SSD is still somewhat of a luxury item; not necessarily something that a gaming system needs as it doesn't increase framerate, and only speeds up loading in selected titles.

    2. Overclocking stability is reportedly best with 1.5V 1600Mhz RAM in dual-channel configuration.

If the OP is from Denmark and needs a rig, the best place to order from is www.hardwareversand.de

Left 350 euros for display & accessory. ~200 euros for Ultrasharp, 100 euros for W7 64, 50 euros for mouse + keyboard.
