Who would win in a fight. Azshara or Deathwing?

I am lol'ing at people saying Azshara = Sargeras. Do people not realize that if Sargeras ever got to Azeroth that would be game over? He would just wave a hand and everyone would be ash. So logic says if Azshara was as powerful, why would she be hiding in the sea? Should would be able to snap her fingers and rofl at her Thrall and Jaina bobbleheads.

WotA does not say Azshara is as powerful as Arch/KJ/Sargeras, just that only they could defeat her. But everyone should know by now Sargeras is waaaaay more powerful than Arch/KJ, so if those two could match her, there is no way she would beat Sargeras.

Deathwing is a titan construct that actually contains pieces of all the other 4 aspects, and is hopped up on Old God 'roids. He took mulitple hits from a weapon that incinerated both the entire Blue Dragonflight and the Legion with ease.

Deathwings accomplishments: black dragon flight, nether dragons, dragonsoul(stealing power/ subduing other dragon flights),neally wipeing out blue dragonflight, chromatic dragons, twilight dragons, mind control on all the kings of lordaeron, Shattering the world and multiple zones, summoning ragnaros back onto azeroth, neally causing azeroth/ deepholm to collide, Nealy resetting the world in uldum, setting fire to multiple zones including directly attacking stormwind, creating Chromatus (impossible to kill), turning an army of demons/ elfs into ash,

Azsharas accomplishments: Looking great during the war of the ancients (she played no part in the actual summoning or war), Naga invasions across the world(? as we have only heard references to her or a minor role in darkshore)

I would say that currently Queen Azshara would wipe the floor with Deathwing. Both of them are possessed by the Old Gods, but Azshara is considered one of the most powerful Azerothians to ever exist. Also, she wants to marry Sargeras so there's that.

Ahaha Archimonde was afraid of Deathwing. So obviously if Sargeras' left man was afraid of Deathwing, then he could as well take on Kil'Jaeden(Since they weren't that much different in power). Heck, Neptulon himself could probably take on Azshara, and Deathwing is said to be more powerful then Neptulon so I think it's an easy win for Deathwing.

Actually, I read somewhere that Azshara tried to help them keep the portal from faltering once and her magic was so great, the portal almost opened up so much, it only needed a few more pushes, Sargeras could've stepped through. If she wasn't so lazy and kept on doing what she did, yes, she would've (albeit indirectly) destroyed Azeroth.

I say Azshara for several reasons. First, blowing up a planet is childs play in reality. The true power comes from doing what you want to achieve without just leaving a smoking crater behind.

Second, Azshara is one of the few villains to actually beat us and get away. That's pretty powerful.

Third, she is bad ass. More so than a boring old mr tentacles the dragon.

Deathwing is a simple creature in terms of power - earth based magic, flames and raw strength.
Old gods added some fluff to him in terms of "corrupted blood" and similar.

Azshara is a very powerful mage that used many different sources of power to boost herself.
She is one of the rare beings that fed on the powers of the titans (well of eternity), the burning legion (sargeras's gifts) and then old god "favors".

I think the duel between azshara and deathwing would come to the "rules of engagement".

If azshara can prepare all her magic in peace before facing DW - then she will probably win.
If they both are unprepared then DW's insanity and raw power would probably win against a shocked and unprepared mage.

First up, they wouldn't fight because they both serve the Old Gods.

2nd, Azshara hands down. According to the lore, her power matches that of Sargeras himself, and Deathwing is just a gecko compared to Sargeras.

Mannaroth said Azshara was almost as powerful as Kil'jaeden and Archimode. Azshara has never fought in real battle she is a stupid spoiled gifted child.

Deathwing is a battle hardened juggernaut he has been at war with the Aspects for 10,000 years.
