Buying a laptop for school / very light gaming.

    1. Premade
    1. $500-$800
    3. No parts to use currently
    4. U.S

I'm buying a computer for school mostly, but would really like to be able to play RTS games on it such as Starcraft 2 and Warcraft 3 - FT. I know it may sound silly, but would this laptop be able to handle at least WC3? I'm not sure how important having a dedicated video card for a game such as WC3 would be.

Any opinions / advice / links elsewhere to look around at computer would be wonderful

I would say something with an i5 and dedicated grafix over an i7 with onboard grafix.

Get a netbook with ivy bridge graphics. It will play wc3 without any problems and save you money. It will also have long battery life and will do in school. You do have a proper gaming machine at home, so you don't need all the latest graphics on the laptop?
    Intel Core i5 2500k @ 4.7GHz | MSI GTX 980 Gaming 4G x2 in SLI | ASRock Extreme3 Gen3 Motherboard
8 GB of Kingston HyperX DDR3 | Western Digital Caviar Green 1 TB | Western Digital Caviar Blue 1 TB
    2x Samsung 840 Pro 128 GB + Corsair Force 3 120 GB SSDs (three-way raid 0)
Cooler Master HAF 912 plus case | Corsair AX1200 power supply | Thermaltake NiC C5 Untouchable CPU cooler
    Asus PG278Q ROG SWIFT (1440p @ 144 Hz, GSync + 3D vision)

They cost about $1100, way out of OPs budget.

AMD Llano or wait a month or so for the Trinity APUs to be released IMO.

The I7 ones are way expensive, 1100€ here as well, but the I5 is only 850€ and afaik EU = US prices without conversion, might be wrong?
