Besides forcing SW:TOR out the door approximately a year early and tanking subs and alienating over a million potential long term players in the process? 2 million sales to sub 1 million subs in half a year, quite an impressive feat for a game publisher.

I believe somewhere i read there are only a few companies that do have the money them being like EA, Microsoft, Apple and a few other, With EA and Microsoft being seen as the most likely to try and buy.

Scratch EA off that list. EA is worth 5.3m? The number is further up in the thread, but either way, they're worth much less than the 8.1 million asking price, much less the value of Actiblizz itself.

Just to clarify but the numbers referenced are billions and not millions. EA really can't buy Activision Blizzard unless they leverage or borrow a significant amount. Which is possible but would also be pretty dangerous for them when they are currently doing decently.

EA's capitalization is much less than Activision-Blizzard. There is no chance in hell
Microsoft and Walt Disney are the two "serious" (using quotes because it's all rumors so far) potential buyers we hear of.
Unless of course, an investment fund gets to the party.
