Ultima7s and the Underworld series are fully represented, but Ultima 6 was also one a gem.

Omg. I thought I was the only one that had done that.

OT: Prince of Persia. I still have to finish it but my 286 doesn't work anymore

I like to believe everyone has played "the incredible machine"...
No world! You put YOUR hands up!

Great list. Played most of those back in the day, makes me feel old.

    lots of nostalgia there.
from all the good old lucas arts games to some other neat games like death rally.

quite surprised to not see worms included though.

Dune II, TTD, C&C, Warcraft, ... Good old games. I've still got original CD's for Dune II and C&C...

  7. #47
I've played most of those games. Good times.
I don't hate you. I'm just not necessarily excited about your existence.

    Some of my favourites:

    - The incredible machine
    - One must fall
    - Stunts (endless fun making your own courses)
    - Golden Axe (I played it first on MS-DOS at least, didn't have a sega)
    - Full Throttle
    - Day of the Tentacle
    - Lands of Lore - Guardians of Destiny
    - Warcraft II (first game I ever got on a CD-rom. Quite funny, my friend explained my how to run it:

    D:
    install

Then it installs, and asks you if you want to play...YES!

So everytime I wanted to play it...I'd install it first and then play it (:
Took me about half a year to find out I could also just run it by the normal means ^^...Aaaah good old MS-DOS (:

Although originally a Playstation game, Rayman, the very first one, is one of the most glorious games ever.

For a real DOS game though I'm gonna go with Warcraft II.

They don't have Captain Comic, police quest, or Prince of Persia on here.

Loved Populous though, glad to see that on there. First RTS god game.

So many other good games on that list to.
Original dune was much win. I remember having to find my still suit and go into the desert!

Also CNC 1 what a game. I still remember being on holiday in Greece with a PC gaming mag (not sure which one it was) had a review on CNC. I was BLOWN away. Got home and saved up pocket money for it. 10 years old and begging my old man to get me cnc with the money I saved.

    A few more to add:
MW (MECHWARRIOR - not that LAME ASS Modern Warfare hack)
Master of Orion I + II; gotta pick up III some year
    Worms
    Lemmings
Darklands! (My game would always crash deep down in the Tommyknockers, or 1 day after defeating "the Hunt")

MANY many many great games have been mentioned
It's interesting how many of us, enjoyed all of the same... Goes to show that great games were once made. Now, you have a choice between some sort of FPS created by different developers, and some sort of RTS by few.

I figured out how to run Windows Server with RemoteApp DOSBOX - and allows any/all games to play over TCP/IP - but utilize IPX connections since the game is run "locally" on the Windows server.
    Multi-player Mechwarrior2 is awesome
    8-player MOO2 takes AGES LOL
Spacebar spacebar spacebar spacebar click-selection spacebar spacebar click-selection spacebar spacebar dark-side.

the OP should keep tabs on the first post.

extras I didn't think of yesterday.
LHX attack chopper - great sim game. Play as 1 of 4 helicopters including the osprey (yes it had plane mode)
A1M1 Abrams - another sim game where you drove around a tank blowing up russian targets.
A-10 tank killer - I still remember the song to this one. you fly an A-10 and blow stuff up.
