Interesting. I applied on 11-11-12, and haven't received any news (still), and I went to apply again, and I get the message "You must wait 60 days before submitting another application".

This is the link that Chaud linked to on todays front page news, so I don't know why people responding in it wouldn't fill you with confidence.
Hardly any need to make a new thread on the same subject everytime they need new mods

Goodluck to those that apply! I've often thought about applying, but I think it's a tough job and I'm not sure I could do what the mods do and still keep a happy face on hehe.

Ah, fair enough I hadn't even looked at the front page it did seem strange that no-one had posted for six months then there was a random good luck message but i guess that explains it.

But that makes moderating seem fun and quirky evil not *grrrr me smash* evil, which is what I think I'd want to do to my own head if I had to moderate some of the stuff here haha.

I wouldn't wish the worst person in the world the duty of moderating General OT. Well, maybe. But they'd have to be a pretty terrible person. Like a ddoser or wintrader. Or Hitler. Or a Clown that juggles Chainsaws. You see where I'm going with this. Terrible, terrible people.

But moderating should be fun, considering that it is a volunteer position.
