Please help a newbie out

Hey guys.
A shield recently dropped for me with:
1525 armor
51str
93dex
174vit
7% block
1927 damage to mellee attackers

I realise it's pretty good, but no clue how good. Could anyone please help me determine the value of it?

There is no life on hit, and only 7% block? mediocre.

Might want to mention the actual amount of block % it has, 7% is just the enchantment bonus (or at least I hope so, or you've got a pretty crap shield) and block value

Look up a similar item in the AH and price it out.

Like all other threads like this I ask that you do that instead of posting a new thread. If everyone posted one, we'd have a very cluttered forum filled with only AH price threads.
