Can't you see, build a pc for me ;)

With my catchy title, how could the fable MMO-Champion resist my request.

As it stands my days of having the time or knowledge to build a pc are limited, and I kind of don't want to deal with the trouble shooting etc etc.

I'm from Australia or Straya depending how bogan you are.
The group I want to use is
    http://www.computeralliance.com.au/systems.aspx

    My budget is $2500.
Don't need a screen, speakers or mouse / keyboard etc.

I will humbly exchange cookies and include you in my sig

    Thanks!,

If you want something more realistic, go with the follow parts:

    1 x 128GB Crucial 2.5" M4 SATA 6Gb/s SSD Drive (PN CT128M4SSD2)
    1 x NVIDIA GTX680 2GB ASUS PCIe Video Card PN GTX680-2GD5
1 x Corsair Full ATX Obsidian 650D Case Black (No PSU)
    1 x 650 Watt Corsair HX-650 Modular Power Supply
1 x DVD Writer LG 24x SATA Black OEM
1 x Liquid Cooling Corsair Hydro H80 High Performance CPU Cooler
    1 x Intel S1155 Core i5 3570K 3.40Ghz Quad Core CPU UNLOCKED
    1 x Gigabyte S1155 ATX GA-Z77X-UD3H Motherboard
    1 x DDR3 8GB (2x4G) G.Skill 1600MHz PC12800 Ripjaws RAM Kit PN F3-12800CL9D-8GBRL

The above system will max everything currently available with ease, while staying a good bit under your budget. Also:

    - Performance gap between the 670 and 680 is very small, not really worth the $150 or so you'll spend unless you plan on using 3 monitors. If you want more GPU power for said purposes, go with the 680 or 7970.

    - You -need- a mechanical HDD for storage in addition to the SSD, but there's no way to add one. Have a look around at your online retailers for a 500GB-2TB Western Digital Caviar Black or Caviar Blue drive.

    - Not sure if you needed Windows, so I skipped that.
    i7-4770k - GTX 780 Ti - 16GB DDR3 Ripjaws - (2) HyperX 120s / Vertex 3 120
    ASRock Extreme3 - Sennheiser Momentums - Xonar DG - EVGA Supernova 650G - Corsair H80i

Why are you suggesting the H80 when a standard air cooler would suffice? If you go water cooling you might as well H100.

Case is pretty expensive too but OP has to decide that.

The site has a weird configuration dealy with very limited part selection, and Australian prices are pretty wonky.

I did link the wrong 680 I think, if I'm remembering correctly, the difference on price there between some of their 670s and 680s was only 30 bucks or so.

As for the heatsink, the -only- options available were Corsair liquid units, Zalman (not a fan), and Thermaltake (not a fan). Linked H80 over the H100 for the exact reason you stated, crazy cooling isn't necessary. However, the lower end H series buckles down more than most air solutions. Plus their price difference between the H80 and H100 was absurd, like $50.

The Website allows you to add additional features / components.

Yeah we get ripped off pretty bad here.
Alas my knowledge on building computers as i mentioned is fairly limited =( Been too long.

I might use those parts you guys mentioned and see if someone else can supply and build it.

Thanks for all the great advice though. I can't wait to take a picture and add it to the Post your desktop Forum ;D

I think I like this build.

I don't plan on over cloaking guys. I guess my main reasons would be

    1. Would it still allow me to play games fairly decent for about 3 years ? (I know it's hard to future proof)
    2. It get's a little warm around summer here (Around 32-36 degrees C ) Would the Case alone be safe at keeping it cool ?
