Cross Realm Raiding

I havent gone through forums to check if there is a previous post, but why at this point in the expansion do blizz not try xrealm DS like they did with FL? Most servers are grinding to a halt, guilds having breaks, PuGs becoming rarer and rarer, it just seems logical to help people who still keen to do the odd raid the possibility of doing it with Real ID friends like in FL.

Have Blizzard stated a reason for not trying this?

Other than saying when it was released that it would only be for old content, you mean? That's pretty much it. DS is still the current tier, so it's not available for cross-realm yet.

Not in Dragon Soul. I think you can for any other raid though (even lower level ones).

RealID groups can do anything from Molten Core through Firelands, as well as all 5-man dungeons of any level (assuming all members of the group have the required level to enter). The only instance that is blocked from this is Dragon Soul.

How do you expect blizzard to cash in on server transfer fees if they let everyone cross realm raid current content!
