Spine and madness count as last boss encounters so you need to do the first 6 bosses heroic to do spine heroic and the first 7 to do madness heroic

yes, we once did zon'ozz on normal because we just had a bad day and the next day we couldn't do spine heroic

You can do the first 6 in any order you like, only spine and madness cannot be started if the first 6 or 7 respectively haven't been killed on heroic difficulty

Yeah... It's easier to do the achiev on heroic morchok which is usually the reason these threads come up for people wanting to fill in their meta chievs.

Try to hard reset the instance and it might work. Worked for some guilds to skip spine hc and do madness hc

Also it'd be quicker to do it on heroic if you looked for time, due to the amount of health the guy has. Sure you'd use 2 heals instead of 1 but still, it balances out that way.

Yor'sahj not being there has nothing to do with killing Morchok on normal or heroic. You can do the first 6 in any mix of normal and heroic. So there was some sort of bug going on, or someone had already killed Yor'sahj or something.

The heroic lockout system is way too confusing, even most gms don't understand it. But here it is.
You can do all normal up to warmaster, and switch warmaster to heroic.
To pull heroic spine, you must have killed warmaster on heroic.
To pull heroic madness you must have killed every previous boss on heroic, Morchok-Spine.

As close to all says you need to do 6 first on HC to even attempt spine hc. its the same in firelands where you need to do 6/7hc to try rag HC. only place its different is in BoT where you only need to do Cho HC to do Sinestra HC. You can also do alakir and nef HC without doing any other bosses in theire riads on HC.

Refer to my posts in other threads about this, in those I have linked ss of gm convos, where most gms where wrong about how the lockouts work, and some were right. You're kinda right being that you can't pull the last boss(madness) in heroic unless all 7 previous were done on heroic. But spine isn't technically the last boss. You can pull heroic spine, but you have to kill heroic warmaster to do it.

No, you have to have the first 6 killed on heroic to pull heroic spine.

You probably can but you need to let the instance soft reset before going spine I believe.

i had a similiar problem with icc did 10m H modes up to LK left grp and tried to get into a 25m H on LK but it wouldnt let me....
Also why skip heroic morchok hes easier than most normal bosses
