How do YOU keybind your Naga!?

Just recently got a Razer Naga (the Limited Edition Molten ^^)

Got a few ideas how I'm going to keybind the buttons, but wondered if there is any options you could all recommend, and wondered how you guys use yours to what you think is their maximum potential?

As an enhance-shammy i have my two big hitters and my wolves on comfortable to reach keys, 1-3. Other skills that i use often, i have on the 4-6 with interrupt on 7. It really just comes down to how you get used to playing with it. I would recommend NOT using the two keys next to the wheel since they are hard as balls to reach and push and it actually hurts my finger if i use it a bunch of times. I tend to press 8-12 with the middle of my thumb instead of the tip as that is too uncomfortable.
Also, your naga will get increadibly hot as you use it for some reason. So you might want to take a break from using it once in a while.

Personally my thumb is pretty small so I can only use the 6-12 buttons without forcing some awkward movements for other people it's the other way around and can't properly use 6-12, I wouldn't bind any main abilities to it from my own experience, like as Ret I use:
    7 for focus
    8 for Hand of sac
    9 for Divine light
    0 for Divine plea
11 for trinket ( human racial)
    12 for holy light
    Shift 8 for BoM
    Shift 9 for Kings
the 2 small buttons beside my left mouse button for seals and middle mouse button for guardian

I personally like to have my num lock always on so that I can keybind my spells on them instead of 1 to = as I like to use 1 - 5 for abilities. I would hate to always use my razer naga for all my main spells so I choose to have big cool downs or other minor spells on them as well as health stone and potions.

    For my shaman I use:

    N1 - Health stone
    N2 - Healing Rain
    N3 - Water Shield
    N4 - Mana Potion
N5 - My Interrupt (use this for interrupting abilities on most of my classes)
    N6 - Ghost Wolf
    N7 - Health Potion
    N8 - Water Walking
    N9 - Healing Stream Totem
    N10 - Earthliving Weapon
    N- - Stoneskin Totem
N+ - Wrath of Air Totem

Just use regular numbers for abilities on the bar, then I can use shift, control or control+shift+naga numbers for whatever else. it's pretty great.
It's like crossing an intersection. There's shit going on all over the place and you don't panic and act like an idiot then do you?

My thumb lands somewhere between the 5 and 8 button which is awesome, the only key that isn't very comfortable to use is 12, all the rest I can reach easily. I tend to use 5 as my "main" button, for instance I have crusader strike bound to it on my paladin, frostbolt on my frost mage, heal on my holy priest etc. I try to have aoe things on 7, 8, 9 so on my protadin I have the aoe version of crusader strike (forgot the name) on 8, holy wrath of 7 and consecration on 9. Interrupt is always on 2 if my class has it, 1 and 3 for whatever rotation abilities are left. shift+4, 5, 6 for my most impotant cooldowns and the rest for situational abilities.

I think the important thing is taht, since you ony use 1 finger, if you change your mind you shouldn't have to move your finger from 1 to 12. goes double when healing, so I have my normal heal bound to 5, greater heal and flash heal on 4 and 6, binding heal on 2 and circle of healing on 8, so no matter how the situation changes I'll only have to move 1 button for the right heal

I don't think this matters nearly as much as you think it does.

I try to set mine up in rows... like on my rogue..

    1-3 are my combo builders
    4 -6 are my finishers
7-9 are my stuns and aoe
    10-12 are my defensive CDs

  14. #14
I only tend to use 1-7 im not exactly sure why seeing as i can easily get to 8/9 but its really all i need i use F/T/C/V/B/X/Z/R aswell with shift/alt mods etc. I use the leftovers for some random stuff. I play alot of alts aswell so it really helps to have similar abilities on the same bind, etc. Shadowstep/Charge/Feral Charge on 1.
    1 - Charge
    2 - Mortal Strike
    3 - Heroic Strike
    4 - Slam
    5 - Colossus Smash
    6 - Rend
    7 - Thunder Clap

I don't know if they have swapped it around or something, but the two keys next to scroll are very easy to reach for me with index finger.

    As a hunter, I have :
    1 - Disengage
    2- Feign Death
    3 - Scatter shot
    4-6 - Nothing
    7 - Trap Launcher
    8 - Frost Trap
    9 - Snake trap
    10 - nothing
    11 - disabled because it's broken
    12 - explosive trap

Yeah, it's weird but I got used to it :>

1- Primary pet for the spec
    2- Infernal
    3- Doomguard
    4- Cooldown Macro
    5- Mount
    6- Health Funnel
    7- Drain Soul
    8- Drain Life
    9- Spec specific (Soul Swap/Shadowburn/etc.)
    10- Vent PTT

Plus some miscellaneous shift/alt modifiers at work in there too.

Some crap in there like Health Funnel and mount but I've got all of my rotational stuff keybound elsewhere with the Naga being largely utility binds.

I have my most used cooldowns (tank here) on my Naga. I've heard of people binding their rotation keys to Nagas and I can't figure out why they would do that -_-. Anyways here's my binds on the Naga.

    N1 - holy shield
    N2 - inquisition
    N3 - divine protection
    N4 - trinket (fotd,mobi,stay,etc)
N5 - guardian of ancient kings
    N6 - ardent defender
    N7 - divine guardian
    N8 - lay on hands
    N9 - bubble/cancelaura

Alt N# - various hand spells, etc

I use it for CC mainly on all my toons.

I use it with arena 1-3 macros, and put my CC on there. For example, on a Mage 1-3 would be Deep Freeze, 4-6 would be Polymorph, 7-9 would be CS. 10-11 are both dispel macros for my team mates. I forget what 12 is, haven't played my Mage in a little bit.
