So if you're daughter (who did nothing wrong) died because you're an idiot, you wouldn't cry?

    Are you fucking kidding me?
Statistically the chance of getting injured by a shark is so small that it is ridiculous, and a fatal one at that is even smaller.

She is in a bigger risk of getting injured or killed by going to school. Traffic accidents are far more likely to kill a child than anything else. But hey, walking is healthy for the child right? But them sharks, holy shit call the army...

If you watch the video they obviously had the situation under control.
Perfectly acceptable in my opinion. That girl will probably remember that for the rest of her life since events that happen when you are younger are more memorable. When you are five years old a year is a fifth of your life.
Just think of how easy it is to remember the great Disney movies or kid shows from when you were young compared to some show you saw a week ago.

Well I couldn't care less to what other people do with thier children. I wouldn't get near a damn shark, they're animals after all and can never be trusted.

i am the co owner of stopsharkfinning.net ive been protecting sharks for over 19 years i am dive master qualified including shark feeding. half my body is tattooed with sharks and the day my son turns 8 he will be having his first dive with sharks @ the blue planet aquarium. he will then go on to get his padi.

my point is sharks are not a threat to humans and if we do get bit you will find 99% of the time its a non deadly bite just a explorationally bite. 90% of shark attack victims who died only died from blood loss not being eaten.
bottom line its theer water not ares we are only guests so the second you enter the ocean understand you are not top of the food chain any more.
would you run infront of a pride of lions and expect not to be attacked?
