Help me choose triple screen monitors please

Hey it's me again! Faced with yet another dilemma. I'm trying to get a WoW triple screen set up going and i have 2 choices, 3 cheap monitors right now...or wait until christmas and get 3 expensive ones. This is the one I want to get
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824116513 but i could get 3 of http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824009305 for the same price of one right now.
My question is, is the difference worth the wait for playing WoW? Decisions decisions

You won't need 120hz monitors for tri-monitor gaming.

You'll be better off waiting till Christmas & getting this.
    i7-6700k 4.2GHz | Gigabyte GTX 980 | 16GB Kingston HyperX | Intel 750 Series SSD 400GB | Corsair H100i | Noctua IndustialPPC
    ASUS PB298Q 4K | 2x QNIX QH2710 | CM Storm Rapid w/ Reds | Zowie AM | Schiit Stack w/ Sennheiser HD8/Antlion Modmic

8ms is slightly discouraging and it doesnt seem to be mountable which i would prefer. Why is 120hz bad for triple screen? Cant a 4gb gtx 680 get above 60fps on 3 screens with WoW?

If your going for 3D (which imo sucks) make sure you get a monitor with lightboost to make the 3D experience actually worth it,

If you buy a cheap screen now you will just regret it later. The screen is a really important part of your setup, all the time you spend at the computer is just looking at the screen, why would you go for a cheap one then?
While you might be able to go above 60fps in WoW with 3 screens I don't see the point in 120hz monitors until you are getting at least close to that fps.
Also 8ms says basically nothing, the important part when it comes to screen performance in high fps games is input lag and ghosting.

I can live without the 3d its just an extra nice feature to have (plus 3d porn "cough") I just want the investment i make into my monitors to be worth it. I plan to upgrade to a 5 monitor panoramic at some point as well for extra huge fov.

I'm currently using 1x Asus VS248H in the middle and 2x Asus VE248H as my side monitors.

    Absolutely LOVE it.

Bah ok so i guess i want an ips panel then? Also just curious, what would be the difference between 8ms and 2ms monitors? Is it noticeable?

Noticeable when it comes to what? In specifications the 2ms monitor may look faster but it has no real-world application at all. You should read up on response time, ghosting, overdrive trailing and input lag. Those are thing you could notice.

Something I don't understand. 60 FPS means you have 17 (OK, 16.66rec) ms between frames (1/60 = 0.0166rec). Why is ghosting even an issue when a monitor can refresh the screen and change the colour of each pixel in less than half the time it takes for the next frame to appear?

You can read a bit on this page. Basically it come down to that monitor specs only print out response time as GTG, but ghosting comes from light to dark or other way around, manufacturers never type these numbers on the specs.

That is a really good monitor, also reflected by the price :P

Bleh but of coarse now i find out that 80% of the reviews outside of newegg report that that monitor has intense flickering issues when in use for multiple hours and a too large amount of people report stuck pixels ftl. Every monitor i look at seems to have some flaw or another.

Is it better to go for 1920x200 for triple monitors? Its sposed to have improved fov.

I've got the PA238, almost similar to the one you linked I believe.

It comes with colors pre-calibrated/adjust IIRC, which is really sweet.

If you want higher FoV then just do it in the .ini files/console, you'll get black bars if you record something if you go for 1920x1200
