    New laptop

So i am now looking for a new laptop for college and gaming. My one i have now is 5 years old and a bit slow, and i can't really lug my desktop to campus...

Right now i am looking at the Asus G75, it's got the specs i want, but it is a bit too bulky. I love Asus's products and trying to stick with them.

I was wondering if anyone has any good idea's to what good laptop there are.

Preferably not HP or Dell, and definitely not Alienware or Mac. Games it needs to play are WoW, LoL, Rift, Skyrim etc... I know im probably not gonna be going to be gaming on it much but i also need something portable because my parent's are getting divorced and need something that i can take to each of their houses. Also my Pricing Range is 1000$ to 1500$.

If you need more info ill respond when i get a chance.

    Thanks a ton! =D

I would highly recommend the first or third laptop.

The first has a slightly smaller screen (15.6") than the third (17.3"), with a slightly slower HDD (but great because a backup cache SSD).

If you want portability, definitely go with the first choice (Lenovo). But if portability with a 17.3" is ok with you (it's not bad at all ), then choose the third option (MSI).

There is almost no difference in speed between the two (the first one will boot faster and have faster load times in games, though). So your choice is all dependent on you. If you like the 17.3" (with a free XBOX 360 from the newegg promotion), go with the MSI. If you like the SSD (I do ) and a 15.6" screen, go with the Lenovo.

    Good luck .

Ended up buying this, it's perfect, it's like a mini g75, same specs but smaller which is what i needed for portability.
