I gotta give it to them, the Asuran architecture is pretty nice.

Totally called that in BWE #1. It was a little obvious, not sure why people thought they would make a whole separate dance animation for one NPC.

Asura skillpoint/jumping puzzle starting at 59min. starts out with a quiz for the point then a small jumping puzzle leading to an instance that has the rest of the puzzle. Don't know if the other jumping puzzles got their own instance since I never did them.

I take back the instanced part, just an Asura gate to higher in the sky. Still cool none the less.

I was kind of in the latter camp.
Experience has shown me that every time I think "that's too much effort for a little thing", with ArenaNet it isn't.

Thinking about it now though, I guess the effort went into making the Moa dance animations/scripting.

I personally don't like the Asura... but i loved the starting zone! Much cooler and amazing than the human/charr/norn starting zone

In lore, Asura architecture is all about showing off and being bling. It's meant to make you jelly

Last thing I'm posting about the video is city of friendly Skritt (Skrittsburg) at 1:12:00. The guy playing also mentioned the skritt are somewhat more intelligent the more of them are gathered not sure what to make of that just thought it was interesting.

Then you can always just port there and level in that area instead.

    Once again more lore

Skritt have the ability to chatter and talk to each other incredibly quickly. So in a few seconds they can formulate a plan that would take other races an hour. So while they may be dumbasses individually, when you get enough of them together they have enough group intelligence (think hivemind) that they can become a very smart single unit.

Their lore blog is a good read. Although it's worth noting that they have since retconned out a lot of the extremism in the Asura position on the Skritt (which was genocide ).

Thank god, one of my biggest complaints concerning the game personally, especially as a charr, my body took up 33.3% of the screen.

So my Norn won't take up the entire screen anymore?

It's one of the few complaints they weren't receptive too.
