Who ever bough it just made a small fortune.
Assuming he even just takes the time to sell the 22 sets separately he could make a few hundred thousands dollars of benefit !

I can honestly say that if I bought that auction for the games in it I still don't have that the vast majority of those factory sealed ones would be opened since I would never have any plans to re-sell them. Its cool that he is selling the Nintendo Power service version games, don't see them to often.

A lot of people prefer to play them as they where originally intended, on a home console.

wow... someone has a little too much time on their hands lol

That's a lot of time, money, and space to get all those.

Seems all games are in Japanese. What if the buyer spend 1 million euro's on it and can't read Japanese? Problem?

As it's also a topic on many gaming news sites, It should be true.
And well, It's a lot, but the seller is a store for this kind of games and the buyer is perhaps too

It's not really about playing it sometimes, more of just some crazy collector.

Oh yeah, it sold... yesterday?, Sunday maybe (that's when I got the link sent to me anyway), OP has posted the same link my friend sent me.... man some people have so much money it's almost criminal, but then again, successful collectors aren't ones to brag about wealth from what I've noticed, doubt we would ever find out.

The thing is, the will power to never ever open those things would have to be immense and the new owner of all of this stuff will no doubt never, ever, open any of these items as the value is just going to keep going up and up... imagine what that will be worth in 30 years time if kept in that condition.

The new owner of all these wonderful things just became my most favorite person I'll never know, so jealous right now.

I just nerdgasmed so hard, I don't think anything will ever cause me to nerdgasm again. That is so over-the-top ridiculous, I'm at a loss for words.
